Leica Summarit 50mm 2.5 M Mount
Leica Summairt 50mm f/2.5 M Mount Lens!
Comes with an original Leica 39mm UV filter, and a rear lens cap.
Features:
Extremely sharp optical design with classic ‘Leica Look’
Versatile f/2.5-f/16 Aperture Range, Good for Low-Light to Bright Landscapes
Ultra-compact design - Only 230g (no viewfinder obstruction)
Leica's build quality and design
6-bit coding, making it recognisable to Leica M Digital Cameras
Classic 50mm focal length, perfect for almost all use cases!
Overall Condition - The lens is in near-perfect cosmetic condition, with only tiny blemishes on the body (see photos), which aren’t apparent unless you look hard. The optics are near perfect, though there are a couple tiny specs of dust in one element group, and potentially signs of extremely thin spidering fungus on the front element near the edge, though it’s very hard to see. Due to these, we’ve tested the sharpness, constrast and checked for any image differences compared to other copies, and we’ve found it makes absolutely no difference to optical performance. We’ve also made sure the fungus is ‘dead’ through UV exposure. Note - the UV filter does have much thicker similar fungus inside (we assume the filter was stored on the lens, and hence got effected rather than the lens), so it should be treated as means of protection like a cap, and probably not used while taking photos (contrast & sharpness would be reduced).
