Pentax Spotmatic + 55mm 1.8 Lens
This is the classic Pentax Spotmatic paired with the M42 Mount Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 Lens
Features:
Fully Manual and Mechanical Operation with No Reliance on Batteries
Shutter Speeds from 1/1000 - 1 Second plus Bulb
Fast 1.8 Lens For Low Light Scenes
Built-in Self Timer
Film Reminder Dial
Depth of Field Preview Function
Overall Condition - This camera is in good condition overall. Cosmetically the is a little bit of dirt on the top that we were unable to get rid of which is fairly common on the SP line of cameras, though it isn’t particularly noticeable unless looking closely from top down. Mechanically, the camera is functional, all shutter speeds are accurate and working. Please note that the light meter hasn’t been tested at all, as they almost never work anymore in these… Lens is in great condition, glass is almost entirely clear bar the tiniest bit of thin spier-web fungus on the very edge on one of the front elements, so that won’t effect photos at all, and it’s been left in strong sunlight to ‘kill’ any further growth. The lens focusing ring also gets slightly stiff when focusing closer to infinity when is hasn’t been moved for a while.
